I live in Alpine, as well and the near-constant noise from planes circling overhead has become very annoying. Flying over Alpine once each direction is one thing—circling above us and “playing” with the throttle is altogether another.
Even the military has the good sense to fly farther east for their exercises.
The pilot schools could (and should) fly east just a few more minutes and be over far less populated areas.
I fully support HELPP Over Alpine’s initiative.
