Montgomery and Gillespie Flight Schools: Stop sending your students to Alpine! We are a quiet, peaceful community FAR AWAY from airports and city noise. We moved here to get away from the noise! Alpine is normally a tranquil community where you can hear birds chirping, the wind blowing through the trees, and crickets— nature sounds.
You already have noise abatement and noise-sensitive zones declared in much louder communities in closer proximity to your airports. We don’t mind an occasional single fly-over, but instructing your pilots to subject us to hours-upon-hours of continuous maneuvers and practice flights directly over our peaceful homes and schools is abusive and destroying our community. We are beyond frustrated, and this has to stop immediately!
