Dear Pilot,
Sorry to have to say this but what you are doing every day is ruining my life. And that is not hyperbole. I can hear you every day, all day, and it is not what anyone should be subjected to.
I know it is not just your fault, but bear in mind that you are only one pilot out of many, and if you live and work in Alpine you are affected by them all. One bee buzzing around is one thing, a swarm of bees is something else altogether.
That being said, I hope that you can be a compassionate human being and recognize the harm that your combined activities are inflicting. And please, don’t tell me that you are not doing anything illegal, that you are not breaking any laws. This is not just a matter of the letter of the laws produced by the FAA. This is a matter of the many lives that you are damaging, the lives of people that have a right to use and to enjoy the use of their property, that they have poured their life savings into, and in many cases have built and spent years developing.
Also, to the flight school owners, you are not entitled to destroy these people’s lives so that you can make a buck. Just please, be fair, be just, be kind. Please practice over unpopulated areas. Alpine has 20,000 residents that you are driving us crazy. One way or another this must stop!
Brad
